I am a total beginner. Is this course for me?
Definitely. This course starts from fundamentals and assumes no prior knowledge.
I am already a professional photographer. Is this course for me?
Yes! The course is tailored to all skill levels.
Professional photographers will feel challenged and stretched beyond their current comfort zone and will especially appreciate Hudi's personalized critiques and equipment buying guide.
I am not interested in product photography. Will I still benefit from this course?
Yes.
The majority of the course content is not specific to product photography at all. Five out of eighteen modules do discuss product photography more in depth, but even those include pointers and practices that are applicable to all niches.
If you're looking specifically for a different photography niche — portrait, food, real estate, etc. — stay tuned for updates of this course. We're working on bringing you more options :)
What are the requirements?
No background knowledge is necessary. You will need a camera if you don't already have one, but Hudi guides you on that, with budget-friendly options, and provides links to all the recommended gear.
How do the critiques work? Are they live?
Students submit their photos and Hudi responds with a video review.
What happens if I have questions about the modules?
Just drop your question in the comments section beneath the video and get notified as soon as Hudi posts his reply.
What is the required time commitment?
You are welcome to work through the course at your own pace, but we recommend embracing the journey as a 22-week program. This approach allows you to dedicate about an hour each week to learning new concepts, followed by ample time to practice and implement these techniques in your photography.
Are there assignments?
Yes. This course includes assignments designed to maximize your learning. Not mandatory, but highly recommended.
What happens after the enrollment deadline?
After the deadline, enrollment will be closed and you will not be able to sign up for the course until it re-opens. You can email us if you'd like to be added to the waiting list.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. You can pay in 2- or 3-month installments.
I know Hudi is a great photographer, but does he know how to teach?
Hudi is an AMAZING teacher. This is one of his unique skills. He is very articulate and passionate.
